If you’re running an awards, grant, or innovation program, everything looks fine at 10 submissions.
Even at 20.
Around 30, things change.
You start asking:
- Who hasn’t submitted reviews yet?
- Did everyone get assigned correctly?
- Why are scores all over the place?
Nothing is broken, yet everything requires attention.
That’s when the process shifts from evaluation to coordination.
And most teams switch to what I call heroics to hold it all together.
