Why I’m building New Empact Work.
Why I stepped away from an executive role to build something purpose-built for associations.

After serving on the executive team and leading technology and innovation within associations, I made a deliberate decision to step away from my role and focus full time on building a platform purpose-built for associations that want to capture and advance member innovation as a real member benefit and a sustainable program.
I have seen staff and member volunteers invest real time and effort in innovation efforts, whether through formal programs or more informal initiatives, often relying on largely manual processes to manage submissions and reviews.
I see a clear opportunity for associations to intentionally design how member ideas are invited, evaluated, and advanced, so the effort invested leads to clearer outcomes and greater member value.
I am now building New Empact Work, a platform designed specifically for associations to intentionally support how member ideas are captured, evaluated, and advanced, with AI built in from the start to reduce repeated manual effort.
A private MVP is targeted for January.
